A Purpose and legal basis of our data processing

  1. Registration
    You can use our website to register with us. It is not possible to create a user profile without entering the mandatory data specified during registration. The legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 b) DSGVO, as the processing is necessary for the execution of the contract existing between you and us.
  2. Extension of the user profile
    You then have the option of voluntarily providing further data and storing this data with us in order to use it in the context of using our services. The legal basis for the processing of this data is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 a) DSGVO.
  3. History of use
    Within the scope of the contract with you, we also process data in order to show you uses from the recent past that have already taken place and to make corresponding proposals for further uses, including the services of partners. The legal basis for the processing of this data is also Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 b) DSGVO, as the processing is necessary for the execution of the contract existing between you and us.
  4. Newsletter
    We also process data in order to send you e-mails based on your consent to the sending of newsletters. The legal basis for the processing of this data is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a) DSGVO.

 

Consent to the sending of a newsletter

If you register for the newsletter on the website, you give us your consent to the regular sending of the newsletter, which can be revoked at any time. This consent is granted until it is revoked.

 

  1. Contact form
    The website provides a contact form for making contact. The data entered here will be stored on the server of the hosting provider, insofar as personal data is involved, and then forwarded by e-mail to the designated receiving mailbox. The forwarding of the data takes place exclusively within the server, so that a risk to the confidentiality of the data is effectively excluded. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 b) DSGVO.

 

The legal basis for the collection of the name differs from this in Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 f) DSGVO. The legitimate interest in this is a more personal approach to the inquirer.

 

Consent to the processing of further data from the contact form

In addition to the required mandatory data, you have the possibility to send us further contact information. In this respect, this is voluntary information for the processing of which you give us your consent with this information. The consent includes the processing of the same scope as that listed for the mandatory information.

 

  1. E-mail contact
    At various points on the website, it is possible to contact us via the e-mail address provided. The personal data transmitted, in particular the e-mail address itself, will be stored. This data will not be passed on to third parties. The data will be used exclusively for the processing of the inquiry. The legal basis for processing the data is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 f DSGVO. The legitimate interest in the processing of the data lies in the execution of the contact. The data will be deleted once the purpose of the contact has ceased to exist or the communication has ended. If in the course of communication an offer process takes place, the processed data will be deleted after the expiry of the retention periods provided for this purpose.

    Finally, we also process data in your and our interest in order to guarantee the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the data processing systems, i.e. in particular the security and availability of your data at GWT-TUD GmbH. It is not possible to use our website and app without processing data for this purpose. The legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 f) DSGVO; our legitimate interest is to maintain and securely provide our services.

 

B Transfer of data beyond the borders of the EU

The data collected by us are stored exclusively on servers in the European Union. Data will not be transferred to companies outside the European Union without your express consent. This also applies to service providers commissioned by us to process data, with the exception of the service providers listed below.

C Data recipient

We will only transmit your data via a secure connection.

To be able to offer you all functions, we also use selected service providers who process data on our behalf and in our name. We only pass on data to service providers carefully selected by us and commissioned in writing within the scope of legally permissible order processing. These receive only those data which are necessary for the fulfilment of the order.

These include the following categories of contractors: Identification service providers, software developers, server hosters, newsletter senders, customer support, web analysis service.

 

D Duration of data storage

For all processing operations carried out on the basis of a balancing of interests or consent, the duration of data retention is determined by the prior list of processing operations. If the processing is based on a contract, the data will be deleted after the purpose of the contract no longer applies, unless we are legally obliged to continue storing or keeping the data. Insofar as the data is still required for the processing of outstanding transactions, the deletion will take place at the earliest after these transactions have been completed.

E Data analysis for web analysis, trackers and other plugins

  1. e use the analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you visit our website, additional usage data is therefore collected and stored, namely your region, the operating system used, information on your end device, information on pages referring to this site, and social networks.We use the collected data exclusively to provide our services and to make the website more user-friendly, effective and secure in your and our interest.     This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. Provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. To use the functions of Google Maps it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.   3. Google DoubleClick
    We use the Google DoubleClick plug-in. Provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. DoubleClick uses cookies to present you with advertisements that are relevant to you.This involves assigning a pseudonymous identification number (ID) to your browser in order to check which ads have been shown in your browser and which ads have been viewed.     We use the provider YouTube for the integration of videos. YouTube is operated by YouTube LLC with headquarters at 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube is represented by Google Inc. with headquarters at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.On some of our Internet pages we use plug-ins from the provider YouTube. When you visit the pages of our website that have such a plug-in – for example, our home page – a connection to the YouTube servers is established and the plug-in is displayed. This tells the YouTube server which of our Internet pages you have visited. If you are logged in as a member of YouTube, YouTube assigns this information to your personal user account.     Those websites of our Internet presence that contain Twitter social plugins establish a direct connection to the Twitter servers via your browser when you open them. The information is transmitted to Twitter that the page containing the social plugin has been accessed by you. F Data Security

All data stored by us or by any order processors are protected against unauthorised access, loss and modification by applying current security standards. For this purpose, extensive technical and organisational security measures are applied with a standard that at least corresponds to the legal requirements.

  • Right to restrict processing,
  • Right to withdraw your consent,
  • Right to object to the processing,
  • Right to data portability.
